Special Moments

New things are coming fit and fast and it's seems to be speeding up too.

Movements on the food front, quite a few different foods.

Just come back from a weekend up at Paul, Ruth and baby James'. Had a great weekend very knackering. We had a lovely dinner Saturday night, Jack was pretty good all weekend. Was funny when James cried and Jack joined in in moral support and vice versa, but I think they were both tired. Though he even woke up in the restaurant to cry as James cried and then went back to sleep when he stopped; mammoth sleep that all round town and through lunch and back home, if only that could be the night maybe I'll have to rig up a treadmill with the pushchair on it!!
Saturday night was a bit trying as he wouldn't stay asleep due to all the excitment he had, with so much new stuff to look at and take in.
James has a lovely rocking horse which he loves to rock in, Jack had a go and seemed to love it toy tests before you buy it's great.

Spotted a kingfisher on our walk through harborough.

Jack tried a rice cake and devoured it, another weapon to our feeding arsenal.

He nearly rolled over in the rollover house but not quite. When we got home he had learnt a new skill in being able to sit himself up in his chair/bouncer thingy.Very proud look on his face or was that the huge poo he did.

His fan club at the garden centre cafe is steadily growing. Went over to the new asda and he quite liked all the lights in town and fell asleep on my shoulder as we walked back to the car.

I'm not going to mention the football. d'oh.

Father Christmas is coming and Normal football service resumed

I give up, I just don't get you lot.

Well Santa is on his way, and Sue, Jack and I went up to Crews Hill to get some more wedding bits but more over in the garden centre we went to see Santa. Now this was for Jack honest......who am I trying to kid Sue and I have been coming here for years and have always wanted to go but now we have a little excuse.  You get to go on a little train ride through the tunnels of Santa's workshop the elves, animals and clown band and stuff to the grotto to see a santa with a real white beard. Jack was very good and didn't scream or cry we had a picture and he got a baby ball thing for his troubles.
Then the footy......moving swiftly on.

Nice evening he's screeching and stuff alot. can pick up things and swap them over between hands can't quite sit up yet but gives it a good go.

Sunday went over and saw ma and pa and popped over the road to see Aunty Pat and Ivy, again Jack was very good and I had to avoid him watching star wars on the telly....we're going to do that together!!
He gets very hungry and very tired but is great. Had pears and baby rice for breakfast.

Mummy's team won too

Just a quick catch up, Jack's screeching happily at people can sort of sit up with cushions to stop himself sliding to one side, and can nearly roll over onto his side and over. Eating lots and sort of drank out of a cup the other night, but not sure if that'll happen again.

Was a bit cranky tonight cheeks are a bit red nose a bit stuffy I think and he's due a poo.

Burnley beat Chelsea last night and mummy couldn't cheer as she was feeding Jack.
(need to mention it to Grandad)

Mummy trying more ways to get out of the hoovering

Week a long time in football

and a 5th month olds life.
Arsenal have won again (Man Utd 2-1) so all is right with the world and I sat in the posh seats, cheers lads.

Batty bat flies again ( Halloween bat baby costume)

Jack's had a good week still not happy about pooing but he's quick to eat food in large quantities so will learn the consequences. Not so keen on avocado, bleeeuggh mummy.

Getting a bit windy on the walks and the weather's turning a bit nasty too. boom boom

Some pictures from when Grandma and Grandad were down

Cousin Sammy
first Snow!!!
In the pub

This is the bridge on our epic long frozen walk where all the big lorries were going.
Whilst Grandma and Sue were shopping for weddingy stuff Jack, Grandad and I went for a 4.5 mile walk down a little road which turned into a muddy lane then a muddy track across a field then icy muddy track then muddy track with big lorries and very muddy field and then path less road around Crews Hill all in the silver cross oh well 'tis was an adventure.

Solids in equals solids out

Well after all that wolfing of food and time means it has to come out. He didn't like that at all ! Lots of crying and straining then screaming poor little fella and there was sooo much. Put me off sausages for a bit filled one nappy then as i changed him and put the new one down he filled that too.
Grandma and Grandad have been down for the week and Jack's cousin Sammy came Friday so he's had lots of people to play with. It's been great having them to help out and lovely porridge in the morning.

Crappy football is spoiling everything, bloody Arsenal sort it out you overpaid underachievers Arsene get some help

Everyone is asleep.
