My boys back home
Well after a couple of days in hospital having antibiotic treaments through a drip the rash improved and Jack's got a lot better. We were allowed home last night but had to come back in for another treatment 5 minutes into the latest drip the consultant comes in to have a chat with us and said the tests from the earlier days were a bit inconclusive and the head bug man didn't think the +ve was all that bad and wasn't causing the rash so she didn't think we need anything more. So we had the canula taken out and got sent home... hoorah.

Spotty poorly boy
Well nearly a year since I last had a night on my own with Sue and Jack in hospital quite a different feeling this time. Last time tears of joy and whiskey in the bath as Jack had just been born tonightnot so happy his fever has turned into a rash and Sue took him into north mids A&E (thanks for driving them there and staying with them Carrie). About six hours of waiting to find out that Jacks was being admitted into Chase Farm overnight (now looks like a couple of nights). They got an ambulance ride and i followed in the car.
All new worrying levels trying not to spook myself by looking stuff up on the internet.
Off to bed and try and get some sleep I hope they manage to get some too

Poorly boy
Jack's come down with something over the last few days. Got a temperature and doesn't know what to do with himself.
Off some of his food but still drinking and wants bananas and yoghurt. Lots of cuddles not much wriggling. Lots more teeth coming through too.

Where's he gone?
Hmm eventful week Jack's mobile.
His walking has been coming along very well and he could walk around if you held one hand . Then he started pushing himself along on the bed only slight problem it was on his face - not a good plan son.
Then downstairs the next day or so he'd managed to be on all fours and then pulled his knee up and lolluped along in a sort of crawl. eeek then obviously got his dad's appetite fo trying to do everything at once saved his party trick for last.
Nana and grandad had come up for Nanas birthday and had given Jack some of his birthday presents one of these was a small plastic bulldozer which skates across our tiled floor very well and gets Jacks attention. So, with Sue sitting on the end of the sofa and Jack walking along the sofa and standing holding the other side, I got the toy and rolled it their general direction from the mid dining room. The next thing Jack runs sort of past and into Sues legs at least three steps unattached. whoa.
We've got him a little wooden truck thing with a small sack of potatoes to weigh it down a bit (Sue used it to wheel the spuds in and they haven't been able to be moved) and he toddles up and down the length of the house (can't turnabout yet) usually screeching as he goes as he does walking up and down the street, in the pram or doctors surgery.
Sue believes there are more teeth about to pop out the top ( i'm not sticking my fingers in there, the doctor found out thats not a good idea well she should have warned him or at least talked to him first)
Pickles the nabaztag rabbit lives again and well done burnley the only footy to be mentioned here again.
Laters folks
oh good luck to Sam (and her brusied toe) on her 3 peaks challenge i'll sort the donation out soon promise
